About VNCR – Việt Nam California Radio
VNCR (Viet-Nam California Radio) is a Vietnamese language radio station in Little Saigon, California serving the Vietnamese American community since 1993. This radio station formed in the city of Garden Grove on June 12th, 1993. The station then move to Westminster in 2003. VNCR broadcast to the Vietnamese audience in Southern California totaling about 500,000 people within the counties of Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego. Orange County is home to the largest population of Vietnamese overseas with over 200,000 people among the county total of 2.84 million. In some cities, the population represents a significant percent of the total, such as Garden Grove with 21.4 %, Fountain Valley with 12.9% and Westminster with 30.7%. VNCR broadcast live from 6AM to 8AM and from 12PM to 4PM Pacific Standard Time Monday through Friday on channel 106.3FM in Southern California. We also stream live on the Internet and keep an audio archive for one week on our website.
